MiloPet Community Rules

MiloPet is a place for people who love their pets. These rules keep it safe and kind — for people and for the pets.

1. Pet welfare comes first

No content that shows, encourages or jokes about hurting, neglecting, frightening or fighting pets. If you see a pet in danger, report it.

2. No buying or selling pets

MiloPet is not a marketplace: no sale, purchase, swap or "rehoming for a fee" posts.

3. Be kind to people too

No insults, threats, harassment or stalking. Do not share other people's personal information. Block and report anyone who harasses you.

4. No dangerous health advice

Do not present a medicine, dose or treatment as a firm instruction unless it came from a vet. No miracle cures or anti-vaccine claims. The "vet" role on profiles is self-declared — do not act on anyone's advice without your own vet.

5. Be yourself

No impersonating a person, pet or organisation. A misleading username may be taken back.

6. No spam

No repeated posts, off-topic ads, suspicious links or follower tricks.

7. No inappropriate or unlawful content

No sexual, violent or hateful content, or anything unlawful. Possibly unlawful content is preserved and reported to the authorities, not just deleted.

When a rule is broken

Depending on severity and repetition: content hidden or removed (a removed photo can be restored for 30 days) → a warning → a temporary restriction of 1, 7 or 30 days (reminders and pet records keep working) → account closure for harming pets, threats, unlawful content or serious repetition. We always tell you why, and never who reported.

Reporting and appeals

Report from the "…" menu on any post, comment or profile — reports are anonymous. If you think a decision about you was wrong, appeal from the notice or from Settings › Help; someone other than the first decision-maker reviews it.
