Pet owners see your profile, with a badge whose meaning is clear.
MiloPet doesn't diagnose or prescribe. It builds a general plan from WSAVA, AAHA and ESCCAP guidelines and always says "check with your vet". Owners can change any date on your advice.
Two badges, two separate meanings
Documents verified
Means: A person on the MiloPet team has seen a photo of your license or permit, its number and the address you gave, and matched them to the account name.
Does not mean:
A guarantee of quality, skill or treatment outcome, or a MiloPet recommendation
Approval by the national veterinary organisation or the veterinary council
That the license is still valid today
For pet shops: that products are genuine or legal
Documents under review
Documents have been sent and are not reviewed yet.
Golden tick
MiloPet knows this account. Any account can have it, even a pet owner, and it says nothing about a license or medical qualification.
In the app, under your own business name
Once your documents are verified, these open up too:
A page for your business
A page in your clinic's or shop's name, with the "Documents verified" badge. Pet owners can follow it.
Posts and stories as your business
Your posts appear in your followers' feeds and in Explore, and your followers see your stories. Every post and story carries a clear "Business" label, so it's plain that it comes from a business.
An invite code for your clinic
Signing up may be invite-only for a while. The MiloPet team can make a separate invite code for your clients; whoever signs up with it sees your business's name on the sign-up screen. To get one, message support from inside the app.
Your place on the nearby map
Add your business to the map of nearby vets and pet shops. A person on our team reviews it before it shows.
Rules for business posts and stories
No selling or rehoming pets.
No claims of a guaranteed cure.
No health advice that replaces an examination.
If your document check is withdrawn, your business posts and stories leave everyone's feed with it.
How to get it
1Create an account in the app and choose "Vet" or "Pet shop" as your role.
2In Settings › "Credentials mark", send a photo of your license or permit, its number, your province and city, and the full address.
3A person on our team reviews it, and the answer, whatever it is, arrives in the app's notifications.
Documents are only sent inside the app, never on this site.

When you lose the badge
If the license expires or is suspended, the document isn't genuine, or dangerous treatment advice is given in the social part, such as drug doses in comments without an examination. We always say why, and you can appeal.
MiloPet is a platform for reminders, records and community conversation. It does not provide veterinary services and is not a party to the care relationship between a user and a vet or seller. Responsibility for any advice, service or product lies with its provider.
